🌿 A Day of Service, Fellowship and a Little Springtime Magic 🌈
On a September 2026, Lion Marisa and Lion President Natalie joined the Choc House Clean-Up Project, hosted by the Centurion Lions Club , together with the Lions Club of Midrand.
What a wonderful day it was! ☀️ Filled with sunshine, laughter, fellowship and the simple joy of serving others, we spent the day helping to brighten up the garden and prepare it for the beautiful season ahead.
The garden is looking fresher, brighter and ready for Spring. We hope the children and families at Choc House will enjoy spending time outdoors, surrounded by a little more colour, beauty and comfort.
As part of the project, we refreshed the Mosaic Pebble Garden with beautiful new pebbles and added a little bird bath to welcome our feathered friends. 🐦🌸 A small touch, but one that will hopefully bring many happy moments and serve as a reminder of a wonderful day of service.
A heartfelt thank you to Centurion Lions Club and Lions Club of Midrand for joining hands with us. Together, we made a difference while creating memories and strengthening the bonds of fellowship that make Lions service so special.
Thank you also to our own members for supporting this worthy home. We look forward to returning and continuing to build a lasting friendship with the wonderful people at Choc House.
This special little home supports families while their children undergo treatment. It reminds us that service isn't always about grand gestures. Sometimes, it's about a brighter garden, a welcoming space, a helping hand and letting someone know they are not alone.
Kindness matters. Service matters. And together, we can make a difference. 💙💛
