Built Africa Mamelodi team has been hard at work in our food garden! As part of our ongoing poverty alleviation initiatives, the team planted, nurtured, and harvested fresh spinach to support local households in need.

By growing our own food and sharing harvests directly with our neighbours, we are tackling food insecurity at the grassroots level and building community self-reliance.

A huge thank you to our hardworking team members and garden volunteers who make this work possible every day! 💚

Q&A Highlights: Turning Strategy into Action 💡💬

During our GBV Capacity Building Session on 19 August 2026 at Built Africa, stakeholders and frontline workers tackled critical questions around implementing the GBVF NSP.

The main takeaway? Seamless referral pathways between SAPS, NPA, health services, and community partners are vital for survivor-centered care. Clear answers lead to direct action! 🤝💜

On 19 August 2026, Built Africa hosted a transformative GBV Capacity Building Session focused on the GBVF National Strategic Plan (NSP). This session brought together key community leaders, service providers, and dedicated partners to strengthen our collective response, deepen our knowledge, and align our efforts in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and Femicide.
