Career Day talks:

We may not have had the best start in life. We may face disappointments, make mistakes, or have things happen that are outside our control.

But when we don’t give up, when we keep showing up, and when we keep getting back up, we give ourselves the opportunity to become successful.

Your starting point does not have to determine your ending.

Can one person make a difference?

On Sunday, we had the privilege of sharing with the youth at Reverb, the youth of Hatfield Christian Church, about how one person’s obedience to God can make a difference.

Mama V shared how she followed God’s call to reach women on the streets, and how that simple “yes” ultimately changed the lives of women like Kim and Ellen, who now have a family and a home.

Renate shared how God placed a call on her heart from a young age to work with women who had been prostituted, and how, step by step, God turned that dream into a reality.

Kim and Ellen also shared from their own stories about the difference it made when someone came to them with love instead of judgement.

Thembani was able to share from a man’s perspective what it meant to have someone invest in his life and make a the biggest difference.

Sometimes people won’t come to the Church because they feel judged. So the Church has to go to them.

One person. One “yes.” One act of obedience.

Never underestimate what God can do through one willing person.

This week, we had to say goodbye to our beloved Ava.

Ava was part of our family and ministry for eight wonderful years. She was a rescue who became so much more than a dog, she was deeply loved.

Ava was full of life. She was a professional mouse and dassie hunter. She loved the mountain and showed us how to slow down and enjoy the simple things. If you wanted to know what it looked like to enjoy life, you only had to know Ava. Unapologetically authentic.

Most of all, Ava was gentle, loving and kind. She was so loyal, trustworthy and obedient, and brought so much joy to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

We will miss her more than words can say, but we are deeply grateful that we were among the chosen ones, blessed to have been loved by her and honoured to have loved her in return.

You will always be remembered, Ava. ❤️

So proud of our ladies!

Last week, our ladies had the privilege of speaking at the YOYL (Year of Your Life) Gap Year Programme, sharing about human trafficking, their testimonies, and the miracle-working God we serve.

A huge thank you to YOYL for giving them the opportunity to share, pray, and speak into the lives of these young people — children of God. It was an honour to raise awareness, not to create fear, but to help them recognise when they are in trouble and know that they can speak up.

And what made it even more special was getting to hear their questions, feedback and responses. It is always amazing to see young people engage, listen and share their thoughts.

We are so proud of you, ladies! Your voices and testimonies matter. To God be all the glory!

We had such a wonderful time at B Loved Foundation this week.
We got to share our testimonies from darkness to light! 💡
And incase we forgot where we came from, the miraculous transformations, we were again reminded.
Thank you to B Loved Foundation for creating spaces where we can share our journey with you and our Father God ❤️💎🙏🏼
