If the National Cannabis Plan aims to create 130 000 jobs through the cultivation of Cannabis, 51% totals to 66 300 jobs, thant 7366.67 jobs per Province if divided equally.
Research indicates that out of 320 000 drug related arrests, 65% were for cannabis related charges. 51% of the industry earmarked for PWUD is NOT CHARITY it's ECONOMIC JUSTICE!

The Siyasonke Youth Forum together with NACOSA , SANPUD - South African Network of People Who Use Drugs, TB HIV Care, SANAC Civil Society Forum, The Aurum Institute, Lawyers For Human Rights, Creative Khotatsa PWUD Coalition NPO recently had a Decriminalization of Drug Use and Personal Possession Workshop in Mowbray, Cape Town. This engagement highlighted critical health care issues and human rights advocacy gaps that need reintegration and evidence-based approaches to ensure equity and responsibile accountability of the broader society and the government. This vital step towards the championing of the rights of People Who Use Drugs in South Africa is only a mileage factor towards the end goal of the collective stakeholders...
