This morning, we had the privilege of joining GROOTfm 90.5 and the Caring Daisies to donate toward Karin’s new hearing aids. 🦻

On 30 September 2026, 52-year-old Magda de Bruin had her cochlear implant switched on - a very special moment after her hearing aids could no longer provide her with the hearing she needed.

The sounds may have been strange at first, but this was just Day 1 of an incredible new journey.

💙 A very special moment for little Dehan!

Six-year-old Dehan Joubert received his cochlear implant on 3 August 2026, after severe hearing loss meant that hearing aids were no longer giving him enough benefit.

On 3 September 2026, he had his much-anticipated switch-on day!

What an incredible new chapter for this adorable little boy as he begins discovering a world of sound again.
