The survey is conducted with the assistance of registered practitioners of the Professional Boards of the HPCSA to obtain feedback on the evaluation of the impact of its programmes.

Fantastic work by one of our Western Cape members, Cape Medical Response, along with colleagues from the City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Service, National Sea Rescue Institute, Park Rangers, METRO Rescue and the VIP Protection Unit.

Team work was the order of the day and the result was the effective and efficient location, treatment and recovery of the patient!

Well done to all concerned!

Fact: “Yes, as per sections 58 and 60 of the National Traffic Act 93 of 1996, emergency vehicles are permitted to disregard specific traffic laws in order to perform their duties. This is only allowed if it can be done safely and within reasonable limits.
