SAVF Susan Strijdom Home in Pretoria, Gauteng, is looking for an experienced, dynamic and dedicated Facility Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our elderly care facility.

Are you a strong leader with a passion for people, excellent management skills and a commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of older persons? This could be the opportunity for you!

✅ Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 and SAPS clearance
• Recognised qualification in Human Sciences or Management Sciences
• Accountancy qualification will be advantageous
• Valid Code 08 driver's licence
• Knowledge and experience in elderly care and the welfare sector
• Financial and personnel management experience
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of relevant policies and legislation
• Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
• Experience in business planning and managing large teams

📝 Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the effective management and daily operations of the facility
• Manage finances, administration and personnel
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation
• Lead marketing and fundraising initiatives
• Maintain high standards of care and service delivery

’n Visie wat groei. ’n Leierskap wat geleenthede raaksien. ’n Toekoms wat gebou word.

SAVF President Graeme Peplar deel in die opwinding rondom die amptelike inlywing van SAVF Suikerbosoord – die derde oord wat sedert 2024 tydens sy presidentskap by die SAVF-familie ingelyf word.

Hierdie mylpaal is meer as net die uitbreiding van SAVF se fisiese voetspoor. Dit is ’n weerspieëling van strategiese denke, innoverende leierskap en die vermoë om nuwe geleenthede te identifiseer wat SAVF se langtermyn-volhoubaarheid versterk.

Onder Graeme se leiding word die kennis, ervaring en strategiese insig van die MANCO-lede doelgerig aangewend om oorde wat toenemend onder ekonomiese druk verkeer, nie bloot te ondersteun nie, maar om hulle te help om nuwe moontlikhede te ontsluit, sterker sakebeginsels te vestig en volhoubaar binne die SAVF-familie te funksioneer.

Elke nuwe inlywing verbreed SAVF se voetspoor – maar belangriker nog, dit versterk die organisasie se vermoë om waarde te skep, kennis te deel en met visie na die toekoms te bou.
