Three days filled with joy, laughter, worship and unforgettable moments at Laerskool Pretoria-Oos!

Our KIDS Games were about so much more than just fun and games. Through Bible stories, worship, meaningful conversations and plenty of laughter, we had the privilege of creating a space where children could encounter Jesus and discover just how deeply they are known, loved and valued by God.

Every child matters. Every moment counts. And every opportunity to plant seeds of faith in young hearts is worth celebrating!

A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer and everyone who helped make these three days so special. What a privilege to be part of what God is doing in the lives of the next generation!

At TREE Meyersdal, we have spent the last few years running the Lead Today leadership course with the whole Grade 7 group at Laerskool Orion.

We have just heard that one of our prominent high schools has chosen 45 Matric leaders, and 36 of them are learners from our 2022 Grade 7 group at Orion who went through this course.

To see this kind of impact is truly amazing. It reminds us why we need to be intentional about investing in our next generation of leaders.

So exciting to see what the Lord is doing in the next generation. He is so faithful.

We recently had the opportunity to serve alongside other churches at Bellville High School for CSV, and yesterday we hosted a worship event during break. Watching the teens come together to worship the King of Kings was amazing.

He is good, all the time.

We are grateful to begin teaching Bible Education classes at Trinity House, reaching 170 Grade 8 and 9 learners. We are seeing God at work in this school.

What a privilege!

TREE Meyersdal had the opportunity to bless 47 secretaries across our seven schools, thanking them for all they do and reminding them that they are called for such a time as this.

We reflected on Esther, compassion and the influence we each carry, and ended in prayer.

More than celebrating numbers, we celebrate the opportunity to influence, encourage and speak life. 💚

We had the privilege of opening Midstream College's Head Leader announcement ceremony recently, followed by facilitating a time of praise and worship with the students. What a joy to be part of celebrating new leadership and pointing hearts toward God in the same gathering.

In 2025, TREE Cape Town started a football ministry at Danie Ackermann Primary School. By God's grace, 2026 saw us officially enter the local league, with two age groups training and competing weekly, sponsored kits, and local coaches now on board.

What means most, though, is watching the boys take ownership of prayer before every match and training session. Faith taking root in the next generation, on and off the field. ⚽

We recently partnered with three other churches to share the Gospel with the teenagers of Midstream.

It was a powerful evening that demonstrated what can happen when the Church comes together to reach the next generation. Hundreds of young people heard the message of Jesus, and we are grateful that this initiative has received the support of both the school principals and the estate's board of directors. Our next gathering is planned for October.

Please pray with us that these young people would experience God's glory shining into their hearts and lives. May His light shine through them into their classrooms, sports teams, friendships, and across their schools, leading many to Jesus and raising up a generation of disciples who impact their world.🔥

Yesterday at Maragon Olympus, we stood in awe as we caught a glimpse of what it looks and sounds like to know God through the eyes of a child. Perhaps this is what Jesus meant when He called us to have faith like children.

May what we witnessed inspire you, as it has inspired us, to keep carrying God's vision for your school. He wants to work in and through our children, and we have the incredible privilege of partnering with Him in shaping the next generation. Goosebumps on the first day back is exactly how it should be.

Welcome back! As classrooms fill and routines return, TREE is reminded of why this season matters. A new term is a new opportunity, for learners to grow in identity and character, for teachers to lead with purpose, and for schools to become environments where the next generation can truly thrive. We're grateful to walk alongside all of our partner schools across South Africa as this semester unfolds.
