An encouraging word from Frank. 👋

Riaan drives the Standerton road every day, and every day he passes a man walking it too.

Six kilometers one way, six kilometers back. Rain or shine, without fail.

Riaan finally stopped to chat with him. Turns out his name is Frank, he's retired, and that walk is just something he does.

Riaan couldn't help but be in awe, and told him all about Pedalling for PDR, cycling from Bloemfontein to Cape Town over eight days for Pretoria Dog Rescue.

Frank had a message of encouragement for the team, and honestly, coming from someone who covers that kind of distance on foot without a second thought, it hit different.

This is exactly why Riaan started this whole thing. Not for the glory, just to do something that matters, and to notice the people already doing the same in their own quiet way.

Thank you, Frank. 🙏 We're riding a little taller knowing you're cheering us on.

Team member Riaan just landed an incredibly generous sponsorship, and we couldn't wait to share it.

Wian Kieser from Volksrust Battlefields Lodge Gym has opened his doors and offered Riaan free use of the gym to train for our 1000+ km tour.

That's the kind of support that genuinely makes a difference.

Riaan is the one who started this whole thing, and as our most experienced rider, he's leading the team from the front.

Having someone believe in that enough to back him like this? It means the world to all of us.
