Women from across the agricultural sector came together for AGDA and Food For Mzansi’s annual Soul To Soil gathering. This day was created not only to honour and celebrate women in agriculture, but to make space for the conversations that matter.

Conversations about what it truly means to be a woman building, leading and growing in this sector. About the triumphs, yes, but also the barriers. The sacrifices. The resilience. The courage it takes to keep showing up and the power that comes when women share their experiences openly and honestly.

Our deepest gratitude to every speaker who shared her wisdom and her story, and to every partner and exhibitor who helped us create such a meaningful day.

And because women who carry so much deserve to be poured into too, our guests were treated to neck, shoulder, head and hand massages, beautiful flowers and a few special surprises along the way.

🌸 She’s leading change, championing women and shaping a sustainable agricultural future 🌸

This week, we celebrate Agnes Hove, CEO of Kijani Blue Agribusiness and Director & Treasurer of African Women in Agriculture(AWiA), whose vision for African agriculture is rooted in sustainability, innovation and hope.

For Agnes, excluding women from agricultural decision-making means losing the wisdom that nurtures both the land and communities. She believes women bring a unique perspective, one that prioritises ecological balance, family nutrition, long-term soil health and sustainable stewardship.
