We hosted a 10 week program ‘Liberating the Human Spirit’ with incarcerated youth offenders. On Saturday our program came to an end with a wonderful festive meal (roast chicken, roast potatoes, rice, gravy, pumpkin, green beans and carrots and a beautiful cupcake and sweet pack for dessert).
We closed off the day with a creative project where each team was asked to design a flag that represented their team and they had to give their team a name. The flags were signed by the participants and volunteers and can be seen below.
There are so many testimonies of God’s provision, His perfect timing, His grace and His love and transformation that only He can bring.
From myself and the board, would like to thank every volunteer, every pastor, every sponsor, every prayer warrior and all who has an input into this program.
In February 2025 we will begin Biblical Studies with this group of 85 youth, as well as Liberating the Human Spirit with a new group of 100 participants.
We are also praying for our youth skills program, Ukuhliswa, to start mid-2025.
