⚖️ Meet the Team | Kazumi Sebonka
The Pretoria Attorneys Association proudly introduces Kazumi Sebonka. She currently serves as a proud member of the Pretoria Attorneys Association where she heads the Marketing, Events and Sponsorship portfolio for the 2025 – 2026 term.
Kazumi Sebonka is a duly admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa, admitted on 23 April 2024. She currently practises in the Third-Party Litigation Department at VZLR Incorporated, specialising in personal injury matters, Road Accident Fund claims, and related third-party disputes, having previously completed her articles at the firm.
She began her legal career at MacRobert Attorneys in the Tax Department, where she gained experience in tax enquiries and disputes involving prominent clients, including South African Revenue Service. She was later appointed as an Associate in the Financial Recoveries Department, representing clients such as ABSA Bank, BMW Financial Services South Africa, Life Healthcare, Eduvos, and Santam Ltd in litigation, asset recovery, debt review, and settlement matters.
Kazumi also holds right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa, authorising her to appear in the High Courts, Supreme Court of Appeal, and Constitutional Court.
