Event Report: Sister Jenny Burn Foundation

The Sister Jenny Burn Foundation was invited by the Disaster Management team to conduct an awareness program at Mooiplaas Informal Settlement. The event was a success, with strong participation from community members who engaged positively and cooperated throughout the activities.

The day was marked by meaningful discussions, active involvement, and a shared commitment to building resilience within the community. The collaboration between Tshwane Disaster Management, Sister Jenny Burn Foundation, City of Tshwane waste management, Environmental Compliance, Health Inspector, Waste Management, MHS R4, South African Weather Services(SAWS) and local residents highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing challenges and promoting safety.
