Cultural pride is a positive appreciation and valuing of one's own heritage and traditions, fostering self-esteem and identity, but tribalism is an unhealthy, exclusive loyalty to a specific group that involves hostility, demonization, or hatred toward outsiders.
The Gadangme's current insistent on the use of the Ga language and terminologies is a pure display of "cultural pride".
We are not in anyway trying to impose our language and traditions on another ethnic group or region, but advocating for our language to take precedence within its own borders.
That call comes with a sense of purpose and selflessness, devoid of anything tribalistic.
We are the most tribal tolerant ethnic group ever, and we will remain accommodating whilst advocating for sustainability of our lineage and heritage.
We remain resolute and unapologetic.
