Engaging in Community Justice & GBV Awareness

Today, Oageng Ya Tlotliso had the opportunity to attend an important community programme hosted by the Tshwane Central Magistrial District of Mamelodi, focusing on the three amended GBV legislations, sexual offences, and justice services available to women.

As a community-based organisation committed to empowering and supporting our communities, we believe that knowledge is power. Understanding the law, knowing your rights, and being aware of the support services available can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by gender-based violence.

We appreciate the opportunity to engage, learn, and strengthen our understanding so that we can continue sharing relevant information with the communities we serve.

Together, through awareness, education and collective action, we can contribute towards safer and more informed communities.

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) Contact Centre will be operating extended hours on selected dates to assist members of the public with queries relating to GDE services.

Need help with your child's 2027 Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) online school application? We've got you covered!

At Oageng Ya Tlotliso, we are assisting parents and guardians with: ✅ Grade 1 online registrations ✅ Grade 8 online registrations ✅ Completing the online application correctly ✅ Guidance on the required supporting documents

📄 Remember to have the following documents ready: • Parent/Guardian ID or Passport • Learner's Birth Certificate or Passport • Proof of Home Address • Proof of Work Address • Grade 7 Report (Grade 8 applicants only) • Clinic Card/Immunisation Record (Grade 1 applicants only)

⚠️ Important: Completing the online application does not complete the entire process. It remains the parent/guardian's responsibility to submit all the required certified supporting documents to each school applied to within the required timeframe.
