Reusable or cloth pads are a great alternative to disposable menstrual products. Here are some cons about using the cloth pad. 1. 1 pack can last 3-7 years (depending on quality of the material)2. No chemicals - many disposable pads and tampons have harmful chemicals.3. No, too little small - because there's no plastic and chemicals in the pad, this minimizes the small - making you feel a lot more comfortable. 4. They can take a lot more flow than the average pad, because they are made out of cloth, they can soak up a lot more slow than the average pad.5. Cost effective, you won't buy pads for years to come # #

In South Africa, 1 in 10, up to 7 million girls can’t afford essential menstrual hygiene products. School girls are not the only ones directly affected by period poverty but are the most vulnerable and our priority.
