🧡 Mandela Day 2026 | Small Acts. Big Impact. 💚

This Mandela Day, the Heart of Stella Foundation, in partnership with KidsCare, is incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity of our community.

Thanks to your nominations and donations, we have received an abundance of pre-loved clothing, toys, and essential children’s items. Rather than allowing these items to remain in storage, we have chosen to extend their impact by sharing them with two remarkable organisations that work tirelessly to protect and care for vulnerable children.

💙 Unchain Our Children– an organisation dedicated to the rescue of children and babies from vulnerable and unsafe situations, ensuring they receive the protection, care and love they deserve.

💛 Starfish Babies– an organisation that supports foster families and places of safety by providing essential items to babies and children entering their care.

Over the coming weeks, we will be arranging the official handovers, ensuring these donations reach the children and caregivers who need them most.

To every member of the public who nominated deserving organisations, donated items, or supported this initiative—thank you. Your kindness reminds us that Mandela Day is not just about one day of service, but about creating lasting change through compassion and collaboration.

Together, we are proving that every toy shared, every item of clothing donated, and every act of kindness can change a child’s story.
