Our mission is to provide new mothers and/ or babies with a locally designed and hand-crafted bag filled with necessary items. Bundle of Grace was founded in January 2023 by two women with a heart for reaching out and serving the community while recognizing a certain need among underprivileged individuals and families. Melissa & Nadine are both mothers and know how important certain items are when
you are a new mom. Coming from a background of being involved with a safety house they saw first-hand babies (& the new moms) leaving a state hospital or clinic without any of these necessities. Taking economic and other circumstances into consideration, there are some new mothers that are not prepared for the arrival of their babies and have very little to nothing for them in terms of clothing, toiletries, or something warm to wrap them in. Bundle of Grace is passionate and determined to address these needs by serving these babies & new mother with grace and love. Our mission is to provide babies and/ or new mother with a locally designed and hand-crafted bag filled with necessities such as a baby blanket, clothes, baby products, toiletries for mom and other items carefully thought through and listed by Bundle of Grace in our Grace bags. We would also like to provide the baby and/ or new mother with a Bible and a word of encouragement/ blessing in their bag to make them feel loved despite of their personal circumstances. Our goal is to fund the items and contents for these bags to supply them to babies/ new mothers in need and we seek to include volunteers from our local church and community to become part of this project whether by volunteering to help make and sew our Grace-bags, donating products and items specific to our packing lists, knitting & crocheting of baby items, packing of bags, praying over the bags or to join the outreaches and praying a blessing over the new baby and/ or mother. We have three different bags, each with a destined purpose. The contents of each Grace-bag are different. It means we have an ongoing need for baby clothing, toiletries, and other essential items. A once-off monetary donation enables us to purchase items we do not receive from donations, while recurring donations help us meet our financial needs every month. Our VISION is to establish Bundle of Grace in our community and to distribute our Grace-bags to hospitals, clinics or other organisations in need and by doing so, helping as many new mothers and babies in need as possible. In the long term we hope to expand Bundle of Grace by getting more volunteers and resources to enable us to reach more new mothers and babies as we grow and to serve them with the grace and love they deserve and ultimately fulfilling a bigger part in the body of Christ. Our MISSION is to grow a network of volunteers that want to get involved by either assisting in sewing of our Grace-bags, donating products and items specific to our packing lists, knitting & crocheting of baby items, packing of bags, praying over the bags or to join the outreaches and praying a blessing over the new baby and/ or mother, using their network, connections & social media platforms to spread the news and help source more donations and support.
