Today, PSF National Chairperson and Director-General Mr Castro Maphutha has joined PSF Sports, Arts and Culture Convener Ms Shirley Maila on her graduation at MANCOSA in Randburg, North-West of Johannesburg.

As the PSF family, we are very proud of your academic achievement, Convener! 🎓

As Che Guevara said: "The first duty of a revolutionary is to be educated."

Chairperson Maphutha joined the Maila family today in celebration of her academic prowess, because in PSF, Ms Maila is not just a Convener, she is family.

🩷 PRESS STATEMENT | PSF JOINS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS KICKOFF RUN IN VAAL 🩷

As we kick-start Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Phedishano Sisonke Foundation is proud to have been represented at the 016 Running Club Breast Cancer Awareness Kick-Off Run held at Thabong Shopping Centre, Sebokeng in the Vaal, Gauteng Province.

Our Miss PSF 2025/26 Finalist, Cinisile Mpanyane, joined hundreds of runners and community members to run for a purpose — to raise awareness, show support to survivors, and honour those we have lost to breast cancer.

More than just a run, Cinisile also used the platform to distribute PSF Annual Gala Dinner pamphlets to all attendees, bridging health awareness with community empowerment.

We are deeply grateful to 016 Running Club for the invitation and for leading this important cause.

At PSF, we believe awareness saves lives. Early detection is key — we encourage all women and men to get screened, know the signs, and support one another. Together, we run for hope, we run for strength, and we run for life.

Behind every GBV survivor is a child who lost everything overnight — food, school, safety, home.

For 6 years, PSF has been there. Food. Dignity packs. Safe shelter. Counselling.

But trauma doesn't end in a day. And neither should our support.
