"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things."

“We’ve all been wounded by life, often through offering love that was either not welcomed or returned. Forgiving those who broke our heart is sometimes not so much a matter of choice as it is an act of grace, born from discovering the gift hidden in our wound.

A broken heart, after all, can be 'broken open', tenderised and softened so that it can love even more deeply; or it can harden and become unable, or unwilling to be vulnerable to love again. The heart, it seems, is able to turn suffering into wisdom, compassion and a quiet understanding of all that it means to be fully human and fully alive.”

"There are four types of men in this world: 1. The man who knows, and knows that he knows; he is wise, so consult him. 2. The man who knows, but doesn't know that he knows; help him not forget what he knows. 3. The man who knows not, and knows that he knows not; teach him. 4. Finally, there is the man who knows not but pretends that he knows; he is a fool, so avoid him."
