This Crush Could Have Been Avoided.

In the video below, you can clearly see that the gravel road used by the vehicles to cross the freeway has long been there. Sanral has done nothing prevent that. There is absolutely no sign of obstacles to prevent vehicle from crossing the freeway. There're patrol vehicles which patrol the freeway on daily bases, and their duties are to spot areas which may pose danger to the freeway users.

We will be visiting the scene for more clarity. We will also send invitation to the Department of Transport and Sanral to be part of this visit.

The Honorable Minister Barbara Creecy of Department of Transport has advised Sanral to look for engineers who can advised on safety measures regarding the road curve on the N1 where five people have been killed in a bus crush into the ditch. This step shows that there might have been a neglect on the safety standards of that part of the road.

We will be visiting the area to see if our thoughts could be true.
