Francois “Faf” Naude is a 21 year old student which resides in Potchefstroom, where he is currently studying towards Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Away from the studies, Francois is an enthusiastic armature athlete partaking in road running, road cycling and triathlons. A passion for exercise and endurance sport, along with helping those affected by various serve soci
al circumstances, Francois decided to use his passion of sport to the benefit of those who find them in these social circumstances. In July 2015, after make such a decision, he approached Little Fighters Cancer Trust to partner with them in raising funds for children and the families of these children fighting cancer. Francois aims to participate in races in various disciplines which include road running, road cycling and triathlons. Further, apart from these races, Francois will further partake in various projects which are endurance related in order to raise funds and awareness for the fight of cancer in children. Such project would include from cycling projects covering large distances to formal charity events. Along with partnering with Little Fighters Cancer Trust, Francois further started a charity project called United Challenge. The vision of Unite Challenge is to establish a community platform where individuals or organisations can unite to bring about change in a world which is in need of ordinary individuals willing to do extraordinary things through for various causes, projects and movements. Thus, United Challenge aims to be a foundation for individuals to use their talents and skills to improve the lives of those facing various challenges.
