Wanted Clothing Love's Potch! Incredible to see businesses take ownership of their surroundings. The staff of Wanted clothing took to the streets and park close to their business and cleaned 15 black bags of litter. No one asked them to do it, they decided that action is needed and from management to cashiers and admin staff they got to work. This isn't just a partnership in the making, this is how we as a community are going to transform our town and it's spaces for the better. Running and community impact on full display today at Emeris Ruimsig's Run Walk for life event where Love Potch runners brought home a whopping 84 pairs of school shoes made from recycled medical waste! This is only the start of our collaboration with My Walk who produces these shoes as we drive to distribute thousands of pairs more by running races across the country. This is how nation building looks!
Love in action on youth day.

Carli van Wyk, a qualified nurse and Collin Pereira, a engineering student, both Love Potch volunteers, opened up their hearts and time for a care center and old age home visit today.

We donated much needed medical equipment, soap, toothpaste and warm clothes for the winter to Safe Haven care center.

Thank you for Loving Potch and it's people!

We as Love Potch would love to support Safe Haven by listing their immediate needs below:
1. Painting (outside) of the two main buildings
2. Partitioning of the one hall to accommodate more patients
3. Any hospital bed donations
4. Handyman for a day to fix everything and install doors (R1500)
5. 2 shower curtains
6. 3 Toilet seats
7. 15 blankets for the residents who stay full time
8. A shower head pipe + coupling to wash when seated

Hier is hoe impak lyk!

Annika Smith (foto), het 'n nood raak gesien en 'n hele gemeenskap gemobiliseer om 'n klein minderbevoorregte 9 jarige maatjie, Juan (Skeilnaam) se verjaarsdag onvergeetlik te maak.

Juan en sy gesin het geen middele gehaad om sy verjaarsdag te vier nie maar Annika het ingespring en alles van skryfbehoeftes, klere, boeke, balonne, cupcakes, koeldrank en geskenke ingesamel.

Juan, Potch is lief vir jou!

Jy sal nie glo wat het onlangs in Potchefstroom plaasgevind nie!

Versoening tussen twee nasies, mensegroepe wat nie te lank terug nie teen mekaar oorlog gemaak het. Die Afrikaner en die Ndebele mense.

Love Potch was bevoorreg om genooi te word na die geleenthede en was ook getaak om sekere areas in die dorp wat besoek sou word, skoon te maak en reg te ruk.

Ons het sekere geskietkundige areas besoek soos Liebenbergs kop, "Slag van die Vaal" asook die Liebenberg grafte. Geskietkundige konteks is deur beide groepe gedeel en n besonderse geheelbeeld is gevorm oor ons gedeelde geskidenis. As deel van die Mthwakazi royal family wat al die pad van Bulawayo af gekom het was daar ook lede van die Zulu koninklike gesin teenwoordig.
