What is Potch Creatives about:
Potchefstroom is a town full of opportunity. Full of talented young people, overflowing with innovative and creative ideas. Students from multiple institutions with different skills can come together and collaborate. Some practical examples would include:
- A young programmer developing an exciting
game is in need of graphic designers to create the art and graphics for the game. Also, any talented musicians capable of making soundtracks for the game would be a great addition to the team.
- A talented young musician is in need of band members. Where will he find these?
- An innovative young electronic engineering student is in need of mechanical engineering students and programmers to help create the next big idea in home automation.
- An amateur director of short films is looking for graphic designers, animators and musicians to complete a project. So now ask yourself this. Potch is full of talent, where do I source these people from? Potch Creatives seeks to help bring these people together. Posting your pleas for help, setting up project management or even helping set up a crowdfunding project on sites like www.kickstarter.com. "Sharing is caring", want to get the message out there?
