A child is scared. Alone. Whispering so no one hears.
Who answers?
For 25 years, Childline NW has been that voice.
The calm in the chaos.
The childline in the darkest moments.
But right now… that line is about to go silent.
No more 24-hour helpline.
No more safe space.
No more one person saying, “I hear you. You’re not alone.”
And for thousands of children across North West, that could mean going back to silence, fear, and suffering with no way out.
Did you know that 700-1000 calls from or about children in desperate need are received by the helpline every month?
Where are they going to turn to if the line stops to exist?
We cannot let that happen.
We need just 700 people giving R100 a month to keep the line alive.
That’s it. That’s the difference between hope… and nothing.
