HER VOICE, HER SAFETY - What a powerful day! 💜

Yesterday, 28 August 2026, we gathered at Newtown Community Hall for our Women's Month Community Dialogue Programme.

Thank you to every woman and community member who showed up, spoke up, and stood up.

Under the theme "Women, Alcohol Harm & Building Safer Communities" we had an honest and empowering conversation around our central question:

"What can we do as a community to ensure that women are heard, protected and empowered in communities affected by alcohol-related harm and GBV?"

Together we chose to:
LISTEN with compassion
SPEAK up and be heard
LEARN and grow together
COMMIT to positive change
ACT today for a better tomorrow.
