🚨PMG HOMECOMING HERITAGE DAY FESTIVAL & STREET MARKET 2026 OFFICAL STATEMENT ‼️
Over the past few weeks, we have received a number of questions regarding the PMG Homecoming Heritage Day Festival & Street Market 2026 and whether the event will take place this year.
After careful consideration, we would like to officially confirm that the PMG Homecoming Heritage Day Festival & Street Market will not take place in 2026.
This was not an easy decision.
Last year, we had the privilege of celebrating Heritage Day together in heavy rains through the festival and street market, and we are incredibly grateful for the support and energy our community gave us.
We understand that many people look forward to the event every year, and therefore we believe our community deserves an honest explanation.
The reality is that the organising team has grown into different spaces, with increased professional, business, family and other commitments. This has significantly affected the time and capacity available to plan and execute an event of this magnitude.
We could have gone ahead and put something together this year, but we do not want to host an event simply for the sake of keeping the annual calendar going.
PMG Homecoming deserves proper planning, commitment and preparation and so does our community.
For this reason, we have decided to take a pause in 2026 rather than compromise the quality and vision of the event.
This does not mean PMG Homecoming is over.
The vision remains. The work continues. And our commitment to our community remains.
When the PMG Homecoming Heritage Day Festival & Street Market returns, we want to return stronger, better prepared and ready to give our community the experience it deserves.
This is not goodbye.
PMG HOMECOMING WILL RETURN. ❤️
