• Girls Gloves Up ( GGU) Foundation is a registered NPO that seek to
advance the rights of adolescent girls in communities. GGU is fully
aware that Gender Inequality is still a major challenge in our
communities, churches etc that still affect girls. We ar
e therefore
committed to tackle the social norms and barriers that still affect girls
to fully be included by also mobilizing churches, traditional leaders
and women leaders to fight and speak and promote gender equality.
• GGU has a staff of 5 people and 10 volunteers
Vision
• To empower adolescent girls to actively and intentionally participate
in all forms of platforms that will enable them to fight gender
inequality and advanced their rights. Objectives
• To create, convene and facilitate safer spaces for adolescent girls to
meet together to heal, learn, empower and share challenges faced by
girls.
• To provide opportunities for adolescent girls to build their capacity
and knowledge about their rights
• Assist adolescent girls to engage in dialogues within their
communities, churches to advocate for their rights, dignity, equality,
justice, human rights of adolescent girls. What We Do

• Health – SRHR – Creating awareness, promoting abstanancy, Hiv,
Teenage pregnancy
• GVB campaign to end violence against women and children
