Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club The Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club is an all-breeds dog club, situated in Gqeberhe (PE) and is affiliated to the Kennel Union of South Africa.

Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club was established in 1934, and celebrated our 80th Breed Show in 2019. We hold this auspicious event annually in September, to welcome the change in the season and celebrate Spring, with all the dog breeds. For many years we were the unofficial Labrador Retriever club in the Eastern Cape thanks to the efforts of the late Alf Skinner. Since then we have managed to bring

his vision alive, and now offer Field Trials in the the second quarter of the year. We have grown the club to also host various dog discipline shows such as Agility, Dog Jumping, Rally and the new discipline on the block, Hoopers. We look forward to an amazing future in the dog world, and hope you will join us on the way.

And that's a wrap.

We would like to thank all the competitors that came from far and wide, it was a fabulous weekend, with so much fun, laughter and comradery. We cant wait to welcome you all back next year.

To our judges, throwers, guns, bag lady and sponsors, none of this would have been possible without you! We thank you from the bottom of our muddy gumboots, and hope you enjoyed the weekend as much as we did. Last but not least, to Mr Allan Frost, for the use of his stunning farm, THANK YOU!
