Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club The Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club is an all-breeds dog club, situated in Gqeberhe (PE) and is affiliated to the Kennel Union of South Africa.

Walmer & Suburban Kennel Club was established in 1934, and celebrated our 80th Breed Show in 2019. We hold this auspicious event annually in September, to welcome the change in the season and celebrate Spring, with all the dog breeds. For many years we were the unofficial Labrador Retriever club in the Eastern Cape thanks to the efforts of the late Alf Skinner. Since then we have managed to bring

his vision alive, and now offer Field Trials in the the second quarter of the year. We have grown the club to also host various dog discipline shows such as Agility, Dog Jumping, Rally and the new discipline on the block, Hoopers. We look forward to an amazing future in the dog world, and hope you will join us on the way.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances we have had to make a change to our schedule. Thank you Nikki Moss for stepping in to help us with the Dog Jumping discipline. As a result the entries have been extended to Friday 06 February 2026.
