Our boerewors stand fundraiser on 28 March was a fantastic day in the sun! ☀️A special thank you to Merino Butchery and Norm-Hudlin Trails Market for their contribution of delicious wors and generous support - it played a big role in making this fundraiser such a success!

Thanks to that support and to everyone who came out on the day, we sold over 100 wors rolls and around 40 cheese grillers!

We’re also so grateful to the Scouting community and scouters from other troops who jumped in to help, from buttering rolls to working the stand. And to every person who stopped to buy a boerie roll, thank you for supporting Scouts. This is Scouting in action - people showing up for something beyond themselves. 🌿🫶🏻

As we step into a new year, we’re taking a moment to look back with full hearts.

This year we opened a brand-new Scout troop, built an incredible leadership and support team, and took on the mountain that was repairing our Scout hall. What started as a challenge quickly became a testament to teamwork, grit, and true Scout spirit.

We could not have done it without each and every volunteer — from those who gave time, skills, muscle, planning, encouragement, and belief. You showed our Scouts what service and community really mean.

We’re excited to start the new year stronger, braver, and more united, with big adventures, new memories, and many more lessons ahead.

Here’s to growth, resilience, and living the Scout Promise every day.

Tonight we are doing the last of our cooking over an open flame series so come excited and be prepared.
We are also doing the last of our membership requirements for investger. It is going to be an awesome night and we cant wait to see you there.

🌊 Water Awareness Training at 1st Cotswold! 🌊

Recently we had the privilege of hosting the Water Awareness Course at our hall, led by our incredible Training Team.

Our scouters gained essential safety knowledge, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of how to stay safe around water — just in time for summer activities and upcoming competitions.

A huge thank-you to the Training Team for their energy, expertise, and for always empowering our youth with skills for life.
