🌈 Youth Day Weekend at PE Hobie Beach parkrun! 🌈

This Saturday, 13 June 2026, we are celebrating the spirit of Youth Day ahead of 16 June — and we want to fill PE Hobie Beach parkrun with colour, energy and good vibes!

🎨 Theme for the day:
Wear your brightest and boldest colours to celebrate our youth!

parkrun is not just about walking, jogging or running 5km. It is about community, friendship, confidence, leadership and belonging. Our youth can be part of that in a big way.

👟 Young people are welcome to participate
🦺 Young volunteers are welcome to help
👏 Parents, guardians and families — please encourage them to get involved!

There are so many great volunteer roles where young people can shine, including marshals, barcode scanning, funnel support, finish tokens, photography and even learning more about Run Directing with guidance and support.

Volunteering at parkrun is fun, safe, positive and a wonderful way to build confidence while giving back to the community. It also counts towards community service hours.
