Our Story

This page is a brilliant community page in which thousands of South Africans can come together to show that they care about each other. Public Servant EC & WC Appreciation Squad, is the chosen name for showing appreciation for Essential services & aiding & uplifting those community members who require a hand up & supporting projects of Community value in creating awareness & encouraging participation. Our main aim is to inform & encourage involvement in all public related issues, subjects, events, projects & efforts in the hopes of bring us all together as one in a positive light. My MOTO is to; “Become part of the change we wish to see in the world” In the New Year of 2019, I intend launching New sister pages & linking current International pages covering Local, National & International Media, Crime, Community, Awareness & other related issues. With active promoting, involvement & encouraging, Neighborhood Watches, Sector Policing & our Community Policing Forums, we can take a large chunk out of Crime by being the added Eyes & Ears in Crime Prevention. With the merging of Crime Awareness Groups & Pages, I intend creating more than an idea to motivate people to stand up united against the Criminal elements that is holding them hostage in their homes & areas. The key role players we have identified as being vital to our success in promoting awareness & encouraging support, are - Law Enforcement (SAPS & METRO), Justice, CPF’s, Missing Persons Organisations, Education Department, Social Services, and to a certain degree, Correctional Services, Security Companies, EMS & Towing companies. It will be our objective to bring these various groups together under one umbrella whilst simultaneously motivating and encouraging communities to stand united and reclaim their freedom.

OUR YOUTH IS OUR FUTURE! Looking at our youths needs & encouraging, motivating, supporting & guiding the kid’s of today is our responsibility as adults & setting examples to ensure correct values being instilled for a better future. We need to remove the glitz and glamour of gangsterism. These are just a small part of our objectives and long-term vision. We know we will succeed because we have the determination to do so. And with the support and encouragement of the members on our page, we will always remember what we stand for. We remain committed to bringing about change in a completely peaceful manner. There is no alignment to any organisation which promotes or condones violence. Change is imminent as the people want change; our role is to guide them towards this.
