Introducing Mike Viviers – New CEO of Algoa Bay Council for the Aged
We are proud to announce the appointment of Mike Viviers as the new Chief Executive Officer of Algoa Bay Council for the Aged - ABCA.
Mike first joined our team in February 2020 as the NPO Administrator, bringing with him a wealth of experience from both the corporate & NPO sectors. He began his career in the banking industry, where he developed a strong foundation in financial and operational management. Before joining us, he served as the Manager of the Walmer Country Club, further honing his leadership and strategic planning skills.
Mike brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to leadership. His core ethos is teamwork, and he firmly believes that lasting impact is achieved when people work together toward a shared vision. This principle has already shaped his contributions to our organization and will continue to guide his leadership as CEO.
With his solid background in corporate governance, operational efficiency, and community engagement, Mike has already made a significant impact within our organization. His transition into the CEO role marks an exciting new chapter for Algoa Bay Council for the Aged as we continue to serve and advocate for the elderly in our community.
