Mihlali Children's Haven is a temporary place of safety in Gqeberha offering care to vulnerable children age 0-3.

Mihlali means "joy" in isiXhosa and we aim to offer a family environment looking after the children's physical, emotional & spiritual needs.

We were gifted 2 beautiful paintings for fundraising.
The motorbike one was done by a local Gqeberha artist - Jess Southern & the other landscape one is done by a South African artist Sue Kemp.
They are both valued between R5000 & R7000, but we hoping to get more!!

I taught at Woodridge for 11yrs & was delighted to hear that they were doing a fundraiser for Mihlali House. Great fun was had on Monday night - thank you to all the talented performers who gave of their time & thank you to the donors for the auction pieces. Most of all, thank you Mr Deasy for all your organization & for your big heart. Woodridge really is one caring school 🩷. Woodridge College & Preparatory School
