The UK Chapter reunited for a fantastic day of golf at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club in Kingston upon Thames in July. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, enjoy some friendly competition and celebrate the Old Grey spirit.

Clark Trophy stays with Old Greys!

The annual rivalry between Old Greys and Wynberg Old Boys was renewed at King David Mowbray Golf Club in Cape Town a while back, with Old Greys claiming a 7-5 victory.

Congrats to our team on a fantastic result, and thank you to Wynberg Old Boys for another memorable day of great golf and friendship on the fairways!

Huge Congrats to Old Grey David Maynier (Class of 1986) on his recent appointment as South Africa's Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment.

To the best of our knowledge, David is the first Old Grey to be appointed to South Africa's national Cabinet since democracy in 1994, marking a proud milestone in Grey's history.

Grey has produced a number of Members of Parliament dating back to the Union of South Africa in 1910, but we are not aware of any previous Old Grey having served in the national Cabinet.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement David. We wish you every success in your new role!

The wait is almost over!

Grey High School is proud to welcome players, coaches, supporters and rugby fans from across South Africa for the FNB SA Rugby U18 Craven Week & Girls Week 2026.

Behind the scenes, Mr Danny Daniel and our dedicated grounds team have been working tirelessly to ensure our fields are in outstanding condition, ready to showcase some of the country’s finest young rugby talent.

The action kicks off on Monday, 5 July, with the first match starting at 9:30am. Come and experience a week of unforgettable school rugby and support the next generation of stars.

Tickets are available at the gate:
Adults: R70
Children under 12: R50
Pupils wearing their school uniform or school tracksuit receive free entry.

We look forward to welcoming you to The Grey.
