Congratulations to Daniel Meyburgh | Class of 2020

We are incredibly proud to share the fantastic achievement of Old Grey Daniel Meyburgh, who has been named the winner of the Automotive Mechanic category at the 2026 South African National Artisan Awards (SANAA).

Daniel’s passion for all things mechanical began during his time at Grey, where he was part of the school’s first mountain-biking team and became the go-to person for keeping his teammates’ bikes running. That passion developed into a career in the automotive industry.

His achievement is a wonderful reflection of his skill and dedication to his trade and we are delighted to see him representing the Eastern Cape on the national stage.
