Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough. 🌍

For generations, your voice has helped the world see the wonder of the natural world — and why it matters so deeply to protect it.

Thank you for reminding us that every species matters. Including rhino. 🦏

From all of us at Chipembere Rhino Foundation — thank you. 💚

Earth Day 🌍

A collar to keep him safe.
An oxpecker doing what it’s always done. 🦏

Protection and wildness, side by side.

Somewhere in South Africa, this is what conservation looks like.

At Chipembere Rhino Foundation, we help save rhino one at a time — so that the wild remains wild.

🚨 98 rhino horns. A staged theft. One major arrest.

In a significant breakthrough in the fight against wildlife crime, the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) assisted the Hawks in the arrest of a Vietnamese national believed to be a kingpin in a transnational wildlife trafficking syndicate.

Key details:
📍 The Arrest: Executed in Heidelberg following a tactical search and seizure operation in Centurion.
📑 The Charges: The suspect faces charges under the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act (NEMBA).
🦏 The Link: Authorities have connected the suspect to the staged theft of 98 rhino horns, as well as illegal ivory trade activities.

This arrest highlights the growing collaboration between law enforcement and conservation authorities working to dismantle the criminal networks threatening South Africa’s wildlife.

Every arrest like this is a step closer to protecting rhinos and safeguarding our natural heritage. 🦏🇿🇦

Extraordinary news from Kariega Game Reserve! 💚

Exactly 14 years to the day after surviving a brutal poaching attack in 2012, the remarkable Thandi has given birth to her sixth calf.

A true symbol of resilience and hope.

We are proud to support Kariega Game Reserve and the dedicated team protecting these incredible animals.

Every rhino matters.
In Thandi’s case, this could not be more true — six calves and three grandcalves already.

Thank you to Kariega Game Reserve for sharing Thandi with the world.
Welcome, little one. 🦏
