The Salvation Army Community Care Ministries seek to demonstrate the love of Christ through holistic practical service that meets human need and transforms communities. It includes visitation of those who are in nursing homes, hospitals and prison as well as running a variety of feeding schemes and community outreach programs. Members carry out various acts of kindness, such as spending time with

the lonely, doing yard work, housework, minor repairs, and running errands for the elderly and others needing assistance.
