💙 Community in Action for Our Children 💙
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Primary School, Strelitzia Primary School, and Alfonso Arries Primary School for the incredible support shown during our LIT Day Camp.

These schools, serving communities in the Northern Areas of Gqeberha, demonstrated what it truly means to put children first. Together, they ensured that every learner, facilitator, and teacher was cared for throughout the day with breakfast, snacks, lunch, and even a snack to take home.
When schools, organisations, educators, and communities work together, beautiful things happen. The generosity, kindness, and commitment shown were a powerful reminder that raising and empowering our children is a shared responsibility.

Thank you for partnering with us, believing in our young people, and helping create a day filled with learning, leadership, care, and opportunity. This is what community looks like. This is what investing in our children looks like. Together, we are building a brighter future one child at a time. 🌟

🟢 Child Protection Week 2026 🟢

At I Protect Me South Africa, Child Protection Week is at the heart of what we do. 💚
As an organisation focused on abuse prevention, we empower children, youth, and vulnerable adults with the knowledge and skills to stay safe. 🛡️👧🏾👦🏾
This week, we will be supporting awareness campaigns, and partnering with other organisations to help create safer communities for all children. 🤝✨

Together, we can end violence against children and build a future where every child is safe, valued, protected, and empowered. 💚

🌟 On 27 May 2026, we proudly launched our LIT Programme — Leaders In Training! 🌟

Our very first primary school leadership excursion was hosted at the beautiful Groot Kloof Centre, bringing together learners from:

📚 Alfonso Arries Primary School
📚 Primary School
📚 Strelitzia Primary School

The day was filled with leadership activities, team building, learning, fun and personal growth as we continue empowering young leaders to believe in themselves, build confidence and become positive change-makers in their communities. 💙

LIT (Leaders In Training) is about equipping young people with the skills, values and courage to lead with purpose while learning in a fun and safe environment.

This is only the beginning — the future leaders are rising! 🔥👏

We’re still here doing the most! 🙌🔥 It’s been a busyyyy few weeks getting the IPM LIT (LEADERS IN TRAINING) programme off the ground, and things are getting LIT! 🚀✨
Be on the lookout 👀 for exciting news about our very first primary school excursion/day camp 🏕️ focused on training young leaders 🧑🏽‍🏫🌟 and creating meaningful experiences for our youth ❤️
This exciting initiative will bring primary schools together in the Northern Areas 🏘️ from Alfonso Arries Primary School all the way through to Republiek Primary School, including all the primary schools in between 📚🤝 The aim is to unite learners, build leadership 💡, encourage teamwork 🫶, and create a safe space for growth and development 🌱✨

In the midst of it all, we were invited by Mfesane to their Community Capacity Enhancement Event 🎤🏘️ and the team definitely showed up and did what needed to be done 💪🏽🔥

Grateful for every opportunity to grow 🌱, serve ❤️, and make an impact in our communities 🙏🏽✨

🎉🌈 What an amazing Saturday in Kwanoxolo! 💙✨
We had such a fun and impactful Awareness Day with over 200 kids joining us! 🥳👧🏽👦🏽 Our main purpose was to educate, empower, and create a safe space for children to learn while having loads of fun! 🙌📚💪

The day was filled with excitement: 🎨 Face painting
🏰 Jumping castle
🎶 Music and dancing
👩🏽‍⚕️ A nurse doing testing
🤸 Fun activities and games
Soccer
Parent session with the mothers that came with the kids

Seeing so many happy faces reminded us why community work matters so much ❤️

In our mission of empowerment that starts at home first, we are reminded that every step forward matters.

5 of Prevention Workers recently completed a 3-day lay counselling training facilitated by Thalitha Khumi NPO and led by Patricia Arnold. This was a powerful and enriching experience that strengthened their skills, confidence, and commitment to serve.

They are now busy with their practicals, applying what they have learned and continuing to grow through real-life experience. This important step ensures that learning is not only theoretical, but truly translated into meaningful community impact.

We are proud of their growth and dedication, and we look forward with excitement to the next group of Prevention Workers who will also be trained soon. Each training becomes another building block toward stronger, safer, and more supported communities.

This work continues to make a real difference in our schools, afterschool programmes, and the wider community bringing hope, awareness, and prevention where it is needed most.
Together, we are shaping a future of care, strength, and protection. 💙
