🌸 AUGUST RECAP | WOMEN’S MONTH 🌸

August was a busy but beautiful month for I Protect Me! 💜

We had the privilege of hosting and attending so many special Women’s Month events. At each event, we had the opportunity to engage, motivate, encourage and connect with women and parents in our communities.

Some of our favourite moments were spending time with the parents of the learners we work with in our schools sharing encouragement, practical tips and reminding them that they matter too. ❤️

Today, we wrapped up our final Women’s Month event at Triomf Primary School, where we spent a meaningful morning with the parents of our learners.

Thank you to everyone who opened their spaces and hearts to us throughout August. 🌷

Here’s a little look at our Women’s Month journey! 🎥✨

Yesterday was about purpose, protection and pampering. ❤️

We intentionally engaged the children around boundaries helping them understand that their bodies, voices and personal space matter.

Then we turned the focus to care and dignity: fresh haircuts for the boys and beautiful nail care for the girls. ✂️💅🏽

Sometimes, it’s the simple acts that remind a child: “You matter. You are valued. You are worth caring for.”

We don’t just teach protection, we create moments that build confidence, dignity and hope. 🌱

This Women's Month, we celebrate our very own 🌸

Emmerentia Saffier-Adams
Programme Manager

As our Chairperson says: "Let her name be known."

She’s the one who walks with us through every transition, who shows up with heart, and who pours into our children in the communities and our soccer boys with such dedication.

Her work reminds us that one woman can change the atmosphere of a whole community.

"Here's to strong women: May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them." - Women's Month

We are so grateful for you. Thank you for leading with love.

Here are a few words from our Chairperson on the importance of safety and support.

Safety and safeguarding are the responsibility of every one of us. It takes families, schools, communities, organisations, and individuals working together to create environments where everyone feels safe, respected, and protected.
