Product information session 📝 Understanding Antibiotic Therapies

Last night, the branch had the opportunity to host an insightful product information session on Understanding Antibiotic Therapies, presented by Sandoz.

The session highlighted key principles in antibiotic use, reinforcing the critical role pharmacists play in promoting responsible prescribing and antimicrobial stewardship.

A sincere thank you to Sandoz for their contribution to continuous professional development, and to all attendees for their engagement and commitment to advancing patient care.

On 10 February, we hosted another well attended CPD session, proudly sponsored by Pharma Dynamics. Thank you to Dr. Wendy Sieg for her insightful presentation on "The Female Life Cycle - Key Health Milestones and Medical Priorities." The discussion reinforced the importance of understanding women's health holistically - from adolescence to post-menopause.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to interact with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year pharmacy students of the Nelson Mandela University. Our three speakers (who are also members of the PSSA) shared their work and sector experience with the students.

We are investing in future PSSA members and leaders.
