The poets, joined by artists and conservationists, visited SANCCOB to learn about our changing world and the threatened penguins. Led by the Climate Resilience group, we also did art, working with seaweed and strips of fabric, and discussed the final exhibition in October.

On the 21st of February the BCWDP, Helenvale Poets and the Salt Lake Poets attended a talk on the sinking of the Mendi, which occurred on 21 February 1917. This is our country's biggest sea disaster. The poets gathered on the war memorial afterwards.
