raises funds from individuals for development projects in South Africa, in which experts and township residents are partners. These funds are used in one of three ways:

Ewe Masenze organizes township resident leaders, who are volunteers, into groups or working circles to be trained, to select development priorities, and to do, that is, make the projects happen. These volunteers are selected or el

ected by their churches, schools, civic organizations or cultural groups. Ewe Masenze can also assist either with money or expertise grass roots projects already in existence in South Africa, that were created and managed by township residents. For the most part, Ewe Masenze will support projects it creates. Ewe Masenze can use its funds to leverage other monies from foundations, international donors, and the South African government.
