"Money in the bank does not necessarily mean that your organisation will be sustainable. A strong sense of being mission-driven, measuring impact and sharing results is what leaders of charities and nonprofit organisations (NPOs) should strive to embed into the consciousness of everyone involved in the organisation, this is how an organisation can shift the status quo from fretting over money to creating future plans."

Attention
..,this is an opportunity for someone in your circle who is based in Port Elizabeth.

We make these beautiful, ergonomic, modern baby carriers in a small workshop in Port Elizabeth. We have a training programme where we teach new seamstresses advanced tailoring skills and will start piloting a training programme for fabric WEAVING as well.

We are looking for recommendations of a young person who currently is unemployed and seeks to be skilled in something different. We would like someone who is dedicated and takes initiative. The person has to be willing to stay in Butterworth for a full month for the training period. Training is unpaid but food and lodging is provided. If the training is successful we'll offer employment at our workshop in Port Elizabeth for the weaver to complement our tailoring activities. We are hoping that this pilot kickstarts an exciting weaving skills development programme in PE.

Know anyone to fit this opportunity? Please send me an email at [email protected]
Opportunity is available immediately. — with Phindile Nama.

What is PAIA? PAIA is legislation that creates the framework to the right to access information enshrined in section 32 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa. PAIA is the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000.

The purpose of this legislation is to promote a culture of transparency, accountability and good governance both in the private and public sectors.

PAIA Act, the PAIA Manual, the PAIA Form and the Access to Information Act.

Who must do what? As a private body, you are obliged in terms of Section 51 to lodge your manual. This means that if you are in business as a sole proprietor, partnership, close corporation, private or public company, business trust, bodies corporate or co-operative, you are required to compile and file a Manual!

What if I don't? All Section 51 Manuals MUST be lodged with the SAHRC in terms of the Act – failure to do so can result in Penalties.

What is a Section 51 Manual? The PAIA manual or PAIA form is the essence of the PAIA Act.

QuickPAIA allows you to build your PAIA manual, which will then be emailed to you for you to place on your website and will be submitted to the SAHRC on your behalf.

What are the costs? The complete QuickPAIA manual, including email copy and lodging with the SAHRC – costs only R499.00.

An Invoice will be mailed to you immediately. This expense is fully tax deductible in your business.
