THANK YOU so much to the amazing team from Gift of the Givers .of.the.givers for this amazing donation of dog food🐾

Gift of the Givers was given pet food to redistribute to Gqeberha and surrounds pet charities- and we are SO grateful to be one of the charities chosen for this donation. We were luck enough to receive a whole pallet of dog food, vital for feeding our rescues as we have just over 100 dogs at Save-a-Pet.

THANK YOU so much to everyone whose hard work and kindness made this donation possible!

Join us for a FUN RUN / WALK at Norm-Hudlin Trails on 28 June! A great time for the whole family, including those with four-paws 🐾🐾🌞

Registration is at 9am and the run will begin at 10am. Entry fees: adults R50 each, scholars and students R25 each, children under 6 years and pensioners R15 each

Well-behaved dogs on lead are welcome to join. Please bring baggies to pick up after them if they make a mess.

All proceeds from the run/walk go to helping us care for the Save-a-Pet rescues.
Norm-Hudlin is also hosting their Country Market that day, so be sure to check it out, including our stall!

THANK YOU to Miss Lauryn-Jade Schultz for visiting our shelter with this amazing donation as part of her journey as a Miss Teen Universe Eastern Cape 2026 Finalist!

Lauryn-Jade brought various donations for our over 150 shelter pets including dog and cat food, toys, treats, grooming gear and more. She also handed out treats to our shelter pets during her visit.

Thank you so much Lauryn-Jade for donating to us during her title journey and wish her luck in future events!

THANK YOU to Logistics Fabrications & Rigging for assisting Save-a-Pet recently with transporting a new storage container onto our property free of charge.

Logistics Fabrications & Rigging assisted Save-a-Pet by transporting the container and ensuring it was placed in the correct position as well as adding an extra door, making future use of the container much easier for staff at the shelter to access the new storage.
