📢 Community Notice: Ward 9 Water Concerns
After the recent high volumes of rain, we’ve noticed several instances of water being backwashed from swimming pools and boreholes. This is resulting in some reports of supposed water leaks that are actually related to backwashing.
We kindly ask all residents, when logging a water issue, to ensure that the water observed is indeed from a leak and not from backwashing activities. This will help our team respond more efficiently to genuine leaks.
Our ward office is actively seeking more information on best practices for borehole and swimming pools backwashing to minimize unnecessary water waste and improve our community’s water management.
