MGCCP members participated in the annual Chairman’s run and Charity event on Sunday 26 April. We started the day at the MG Dealership where Chad treated us to some hearty snacks and coffee. From there we travelled together to the “Sinako We Can” facility for children and adults with special needs. Our members each contributed generously to the cause and the club also donated a cash amount. From there we travelled to the Kragga Kamma Game reserve where we had a braai at the Chairman’s residence. We had 26 members in 12 MGs, a Mini and a BMW participating in the event. The weather played its part and the outing was enjoyed by all

Our AGM and prize giving took place on 1 April and believe me it was not an April fool’s event. Save for Chris resigning and Tony being elected all other members made themselves available for the 2026 term. Some prize winners were unable to attend therefore no photos. Mannie, Country member. Our annual bowls challenge against the Alfisti took place at the Moths Bowls Club on 29 March. Each club entered four teams. At the end two teams of each club won a match, but on a count out Alfa recorded more points than us and were declared the winners. Well done Alfa, see you next year.

Sorry, this page has not been updated in a while so let’s catch up. We’ve had events at Blue Vibez, Hussar Grill and the EPVCC All Clubs dayso far this year. I will post separately for our bowls day and AGM. Again, all our events were well supported and in good MGCCPE spirit.

MGCCPE enjoyed their Christmas lunch last Saturday afternoon at the Chairman's residence in the Kragga Kamma Game Park near PE. Thirty-eight members attended and the dining space was big enough for everyone to be seated at a table of six. The food was prepared by outside caterers and was of the highest quality and quantity. There was enough food for everyone to be able to have seconds. The venue and tables were tastefully decorated to embrace the spirit of Christmas. As always, the atmosphere was what only the members of MGCCPE can dish up. Later in the afternoon we were blessed to receive a visit from our resident herd of about forty buffalo. The warthog mommy also came to show off her four babies. This was very entertaining and lots of photos were taken. May we at MGCCPE take this opportunity to wish all our followers and associates a blessed Christmas and a prosperous 2026.

MGCCPE members enjoying a breakfast treat from the local MG Dealership. Thanks Chad we were really spoilt. From there everyone participated in our annual Cecil Kimber run to Thornhill. We were joined by the Morris and Triumph clubs on the run. The Jeffries Bay Car club also joined us at Thornhill where we acknowledged the late founder member of the Jeffries Bay Car club, Johan Marais.
