🐱 Dear Cat Dads,

Thank you for opening the food tin when Mom said we'd already eaten.

Thank you for sharing your chair, your bed, your lap, and occasionally your sandwich.

Thank you for loving us despite the 3am zoomies, the fur on everything, and the occasional item we've "accidentally" knocked off a shelf.

🐱 Feline Friday

Signs your cat is secretly in charge:

✔️ They wake you up for breakfast.
✔️ They have their own favourite chair.
✔️ You adjust your sleeping position so you don't disturb them.
✔️ They ignore you when you call them, but appear instantly when food is involved.
✔️ Your camera roll contains more cat photos than photos of family and friends.
✔️ They own multiple beds but still choose yours.

🐾 𝗧𝗡𝗥 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 🐾

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗡𝗥?

TNR stands for 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽, 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿/𝗦𝗽𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻.

This humane and effective method helps control feral cat populations by:

🐱 Safely trapping feral cats
🏥 Sterilising them at a veterinary clinic
👂 Ear-tipping them for easy identification
🏡 Returning them to the colony they call home

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺?

Feral cats are not socialised to people and cannot usually be rehomed. Returning them to their familiar environment prevents unnecessary stress while ensuring they can no longer reproduce.

𝗧𝗡𝗥 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼:

✔ Reduce the number of unwanted kittens born
✔ Improve the health and welfare of feral cats
✔ Reduce nuisance behaviours associated with mating
✔ Stabilise and gradually reduce colony numbers over time
