Help Us Create a GARDEN OF REMEMBRANCE 🌿
As we celebrate 100 years of 1st Walmer Scout Group, we'd love to create something special that will honour those who have helped shape our Scout family over the past century.
Following the clearing of alien vegetation and overgrown bushes, we've uncovered a beautiful space beneath two beautiful milkwood trees overlooking the valley. Our vision is to transform this area into a Garden of Remembrance—a peaceful place with indigenous plants, a bench, and a bird bath that reflects the beauty of our natural environment.
We are looking for parents, families, and friends of the Group who would like to be part of this meaningful project. Whether you have gardening skills, can donate plants or materials, or simply have a few hours to spare, your help would be greatly appreciated.
This garden will become a lasting legacy for future generations of Cubs and Scouts—a place to reflect, remember, and appreciate those whose dedication has made 1st Walmer Scout Group what it is today.
If you would like to get involved, please message me on 084 606 8756.
