POOR JOEY 😭

So Joey was booked in this morning for a routine dental, vaccination, microchip and pedicure at Newton Park Animal Hospital.
When Dr Shannon started with the dental, she was horrified at the state of his back molars. Sadly 5 had to be extracted, one tooth was so badly infected, puss ran out behind it 😫
Then it was discovered he also had billary!!
Poor Joey’s mouth must have been so uncomfortable, yet he wagged his tail non stop and still wanted to play.
He’s currently on a drip, and will go back to his foster home tomorrow to recover with lots of chicken and rice and Doxydog antibiotics for the billary.
We are so grateful for all the generous donations received so far to help Joey, surrendered all the way from Harlem. His vet bill is covered ❤️❤️❤️
Thank goodness he is now safe with us and away from his miserable life being chained and sad 🙏 ❤️
