Job Summary: Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator at DRQ will be responsible for managing and overseeing various projects from inception to completion. This role involves ensuring that all project activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, adhering to the company's standards and meeting client expectations. The Project Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote and represent DRQ, manage relationships, and facilitate the successful implementation of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Knowledge, Promotion, and Representation of DRQ:
2. Understand and promote DRQ’s products, services, and culture.
3. Adhere to DRQ’s employment conditions and Code of Conduct.
4. Professionally represent DRQ to internal and external clients.
5. Increase public awareness of DRQ’s services and products through marketing and customer engagement.
6. Stakeholder Liaison and Relationship Creation & Retention:
7. Establish and maintain professional relationships with all clients.
8. Create and maintain a stakeholder database for all projects.
9. Maintain good relations with learners, host employers, clients, and other stakeholders.
10. Follow the prescribed client service and liaison schedule.
11. Project Coordination and Implementation:
12. Manage client projects, including all administrative aspects, from start to finish.
13. Oversee learner registration through to certification according to project workflows.
14. Develop, authorize, and communicate project implementation plans.
15. Coordinate project milestones and activities to meet DRQ’s and customers' expectations.
16. Ensure proper documentation and reporting for all project phases.
17. Sales of DRQ Products and Services:
18. Assess client needs and ensure DRQ products and services provide appropriate solutions.
19. Assist clients with plans to meet their training/coaching requirements.
20. Facilitate the signing of proposals, quotes, and service-level agreements.
21. Continuous Professional Development:
22. Connect with a reputable mentor and maintain a portfolio of personal development.
23. Enroll in, attend, and complete professional development courses.
24. Performance Management:
25. Conduct quarterly performance reviews to ensure that all key performance areas are being met.

This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a strong commitment to professional development and client satisfaction. The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of DRQ’s services and maintaining the company's reputation for excellence.

Marti Heri is a powerhouse in the world of physical education and sports development, and we are beyond excited to have her on board for our event. As the head of Gymnastics South Africa’s Education and Development, Marti has made significant strides in shaping the future of sports education in our country.

With a Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sport Science from Hungary and another in Movement Therapy, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for working with children facing learning challenges and mild disabilities.

Beyond her educational expertise, Marti is also an accomplished athlete, having represented South Africa as a Protea in the national volleyball team and coached at the prestigious Vineyard Swimming Club, where she worked alongside swimming legend Natalie du Toit.
