Watching people face their fears, ask questions, and then leave smiling with a new memory is exactly why we do this. Your kindness, your willingness to try, and the trust you showed by cuddling up to one of our gentlest snake🐍 means the world to us. Together we proved that fear can turn into fascination, and that unforgettable moments are made when we’re open to learning. you were incredible. Species: Boomslang
Venom: Hemotoxic

The Boomslang (Dispholidus typus) is a highly venomous snake found in South Africa. Its venom is a potent hemotoxin that can cause:

Severe bleeding, Hemorrhaging, Kidney failure and Respiratory distress

The venom is delivered through the snake's rear-fanged teeth, and bites are relatively rare because it spends most of its time on top of the trees and it is quick to escape if it realized it has been spotted most likely by humans, However, if bitten, seek medical attention immediately.

Diet: Boomslangs feed on Birds, Lizards ,Small mammals or even bird eggs

They're skilled hunters, using their excellent eyesight and agility to catch prey. Boomslangs are generally shy and avoid confrontations with humans, but will defend themselves if threatened or cornered. Thanks the lovely Family that made this rescue so much easier for bravery keeping an eye

location: Bathurst.

It was a hatchling puff adder about 30cm long after I removed the brick I used a broom, " spade only one didn't work ", and a long/shot wondern kitchen spoon whatever I found resourceful at the timeπŸ˜† because my Snake Equipment was back home. The trip I was on was a Meditation Retreat that lasted 6-days straight. The rescue was for us though because we were in a reserve.😌🐍But relocate it same reserve, just away from the camp siteπŸ‘Œ
